Inch Beach fishing

Can you imagine a cold winter evening fishing at a beach with a great surf and a gentle breeze blowing in your face. Well that is what I was doing today, it was nice and looked good for Flatfish and Bass. There were lots of Flounder but no Bass. We couldn't find the Bass in the surf. We got to the beach at around Four a clock. Straight away I new there was fish going to be caught. We met my Dads friend there.
I took my rod out and set it up, I had just been given a Reel as a gift from my Father. I baited up my rig and cast out. In the first five minutes I got a bite. I didn't see it until he was just finishing his bite. I could not identify if it was a bite or just the waves. About 2 minutes later my brother brought in a nice Flatfish. I decided to bring in my rod. I had a small fish no bigger then 19 centimeters long.

Later that evening I caught a second Flatfish. shortly after I reeled in a double followed by another double. I got no break in between fish but at 6 o clock they stooped feeding.
